The Fake Divination Offense

The Fake Divination Offense is a compelling narrative by Sara Raasch following Orok Monroe, a half-giant known as the rawball defensive tank on the Philadelphia Hellhounds. Orok is a dedicated follower of Urzoth, the god of aggression, yet he finds himself weary of this path.

On the other hand, Alexo Warden is a cheerleader, albeit one with a mystery. He is human, or is he? Alexo is a dancer shrouded in a stadium's worth of secrets.

Their worlds collide when Orok saves Alexo at a bar, igniting fan frenzy over the star athlete rescuing the pint-size dude-in-distress. The Hellhounds sense an opportunity and recommend that Orok and Alexo enter into a PR relationship to cast a positive light on Orok's association with his god. Orok is inclined to refuse, ready to renounce Urzoth, but doing so would mean losing the chance to see Alexo again.
