When he emerges in a different time and place and is befriended by a young girl named Sunny, she takes him to meet her grandmother, and they discover that they already know each other — Sunny's grandmother is Calla!
Together they work to get the dingoes safely back to country.
Sunny and Shadow is a tale of connection and the timeless bond between humans and nature, highlighting the importance of understanding and caring for all creatures.

About the Author
Helen Milroy AM is a descendant of the Palyku people of the Pilbara region of Western Australia. She was born and educated in Perth. Helen has always had a passionate interest in health and wellbeing, especially for children. Helen studied medicine at the University of Western Australia. She is currently a professor at UWA, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Board Member with Beyond Blue and the AFL's first Indigenous Commissioner.
