Star Wars: Shadow of the Sith by Adam Christopher brings back beloved characters Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian in a gripping narrative set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.

The Empire has fallen. Nearly two decades after the Battle of Endor, the scattered remnants of Palpatine's forces have retreated to the farthest corners of the galaxy. Yet, for the heroes of the New Republic, danger and loss persist, even in this newly established era of peace.

Jedi Master Luke Skywalker is tormented by visions of the dark side, hinting at a sinister secret burgeoning in the depths of space, on the desolate world of Exegol. The disturbance in the Force is unmistakable, and Luke's deepest fears are realised when his old friend Lando Calrissian approaches him with news of a new Sith menace.

Lando's daughter was cruelly taken from him, propelling him on a relentless search across the stars for any clue of his lost child. Yet, every rumour ends up in disappointment, until he encounters Ochi of Bestoon, a Sith assassin on a mission to abduct a young girl.

Ochi's true intentions remain hidden to Luke and Lando. On a junkyard moon, a clandestine envoy of the Sith Eternal gifts a sacred blade to the assassin, assuring him that it holds the answers he has long sought since the fall of the Empire. In return, he must undertake a final task—to return to Exegol with the key to the Sith's magnificent revival—Rey, the granddaughter of Darth Sidious himself.

As Ochi pursues Rey and her parents to the galaxy's outskirts, Luke and Lando delve into the enigma of the Sith's enduring shadow, determined to assist a young family fleeing for their lives.
