Bajadasaurus was a long-necked dinosaur with an extraordinary feature: it had long, forward-pointing spines on its neck! These spines, some of which were over 2 feet long, might have been covered in skin, forming a sort of sail. While the exact purpose of this sail is a matter of debate, some scientists believe it could have been used for thermoregulation, attracting mates, or even deterring predators by making the dinosaur appear larger and more intimidating.
