When couples’ therapist Emma Moskowitz is unceremoniously dumped by her fiancé six months before their wedding, her world comes crashing down: her thriving practice, status as a trusted online creator, and even her book deal all hinge on the fact that Emma is an expert when it comes to relationships and mental health. Not to mention the pain of a broken heart now interfering with her daily life.

But...if she could find a new groom by the wedding day, life could continue as she anticipated. After all, she’s ready to get married. And she’s never believed in The One anyway.

Her groom search catches the attention of podcast host, Will, who offers to chronicle Emma’s story on a new show. Emma and Will hit it off instantly...it’s really too bad Will doesn’t want to be married.

Soon Emma’s set up with Matt, a kind, incredibly handsome, recently divorced man. Emma and Matt connect easily, proving her theory that Mr Right doesn’t need to bring butterflies to her stomach and fireworks at every kiss. Their relationship is simple and comfortable — and more importantly, he wants to be married.

As the wedding date nears, Emma starts to question if she and Matt are as good a match as they think. Matt references his ex-wife a lot. And he doesn’t seem to understand Emma’s sense of humour that much. But the wedding is around the corner, and so many people are counting on Emma to see her plan through: her editor, her followers...even Will.
