Each notebook showcases a unique illustration by Charlotte Cowan Pearson, capturing the delicate yet precise beauty of plants such as Stitchworts, Woodruff, and Pepperwort; Ling, Cross-leaved Heath, and Bell-heather; as well as Yellow Monkeyflower, Small Bindweed, English Bluebell, and Three-lobed Water Crowfoot.
With alternating lined and blank pages, these notebooks are designed for versatility. They come with a sturdy cover and rounded corners, making them perfect for everyday use and travel. Crafted from FSC-certified paper, these notebooks are not only beautiful but also environmentally responsible.
Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, spanning over 70 acres of picturesque landscape, is celebrated for its stunning scenery, and these notebooks pay homage to its botanical splendour. The watercolours by Charlotte Cowan Pearson, an exceptional amateur artist born in 1837, are derived from an album in the RBGE's Library.
