A boy chooses his favourite T-shirt to wear on Uniform-free Dayโ€”but not everyone thinks it is cool.

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Excited at the prospect of Uniform-free Day at school, Pascal puts on his favourite pink T-shirt. However, when he is ridiculed by his classmates for wearing pink, a crestfallen Pascal finds the courage to stand up for himself, giving examples of things that are pink and showing how sad life would be without them.

Shocked by the thought of a world without bubble gum, strawberry milkshakes, and piglets, the children soften and apologise to Pascal. Pink Is for Piglets celebrates individuality, courage, and the overturning of stereotypes.

About the Author

Annette Cooper holds both an Arts Degree in English and a Science Degree in Zoology and Botany from Melbourne University. These contrasting areas of study have enabled her to approach the world from different perspectives, creating innovative contexts for learning. Her love of the natural world saw her employed as a researcher in both the ABC and BBCโ€™s Natural History Units. Annette enjoys the innocence, escapism, (deceptive) simplicity and sheer fun of childrenโ€™s books. She currently lives in Melbourne, Australia.
