About the Author

Helaine Becker is an award-winning writer of children's books, both fiction and nonfiction, including A Porcupine in a Pine Tree, Worms for Breakfast, and Monster Science. She also writes for children's magazines and television and is a popular presenter and performer at schools across Canada. A native New Yorker, she has called Toronto home for decades.

Abigail Burch is a London based illustrator, who uses expressive lines and colour to create playful illustrations filled with joy and humor. She has worked on a wide range of projects, from children's books to editorial illustrations and brand campaigns. With a BA in Graphic Design and an MA in Illustration, Abigail's bold, distinctive style appeals to both adults and children alike.
