Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Murder By Natural Causes by Helen Erichsen introduces us to Cilla, a 22-year-old contract killer who specialises in executing murders that are interpreted as deaths by natural causes. Her primary client is Vladimir Haugr, the owner of the TGR's bridge club in London. In exchange for a flat, a retainer, and expenses, Cilla completes five jobs a year, occasionally taking on freelance work.

Despite not being strong or beautiful, Cilla is not your typical female protagonist. Her unremarkable appearance makes her almost invisible, an advantageous trait in her line of work. She has survived in this dangerous realm due to her intelligence, stubbornness, and a fair share of luck. However, Cilla is acutely aware that, statistically, her luck is nearing its end. She is in desperate need of a reinvention. But time is running out.

Furthermore, Cilla realises her value to Vladimir Haugr, knowing well that he will never willingly let her go. The pressing question looms: will Cilla manage to reinvent herself, and if so, what will the cost be?

Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?
