About the Author

Lana Spasevski is a Sydney-based author of contemporary junior fiction novels and picture books. Her writing is endlessly inspired by her young daughters who she lovingly calls her little book butterflies. Lana spends many hours treasure hunting in bookshops and attempting messy home bakes. She hopes to inspire a love of storytelling through her books and her lovable characters. Her stories have been featured on some of Australia's most loved TV programmes and events, such as Play School Story Time and at the Sydney Writers' Festival Family Days. Penelope Pratley has been playing with paint since she was a small girl. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Teaching, she teaches visual art and textiles to students from primary to high school. Penelope works on her illustrations from her home studio late into the evenings and early mornings. Her hope is always to encourage and uplift others with her art and illustrations.
