About the Author

Alexandra Stewart (Author)

Alexandra Stewart read Modern History at Oxford University before training to be a journalist. After working as a reporter on several newspapers, she crossed the floor to become a press officer for the Metropolitan Police and, later, Central Government. Since then, she has worked in the Civil Service in a number of roles, including as a ministerial speechwriter. Alex lives in Wiltshire, UK, with her husband, two young children and two rather grumpy rabbits called Batman and Robin.

Hannah McCaffery (Illustrator)

Hannah is a children's book illustrator and storyteller from a small seaside town in North Wales. She has worked with a number of publishers on picture books, educational projects and mid grade fiction and tends to have a soft spot for small details and silliness in her work. ?Since graduating from Glyndwr University in 2013 with a degree in Illustration for Children's Publishing, she has worked as an in-house illustrator and designer for a number of companies and now works as a full time freelance artist in her cosy home studio alongside her boyfriend and their cheeky cat, Joey!
