Koro
A day with grandad in te reo Māori showing in simple, beautiful images the bond between grandfather and child: a small hand in a big one, big gumboots and little, kai, kōrero and a snooze to finish.
"Like Mihi, Koro is a starting point for conversation—the simplicity of the images and text lets us build our own stories about our own days with our grandfathers." Julia Marshall, Publisher
Koro is a warm and universal board book in te reo Māori about a day with grandad. The bond between grandfather and child is shown through big, beautiful images and simple Māori text.
The child and their koro explore the day—they go for a walk, collect food from the garden, eat, tell stories, and snuggle up for a rest to finish.
