Description
In Ecstasy by Kate McCaffrey tells the story of Mia and Sophie, two best friends whose lives are about to change dramatically. Experimenting with alcohol, flirting with boys, and dabbling in drugs, their behaviours quickly spiral out of control.
After a particularly nasty experience, Sophie decides to rein herself in and step back from the chaos. However, Mia seems bent on self-destruction. Rejecting her old life, she fully embraces the new and exciting world that drugs offer her.
Almost lost to her destructive path, Mia eventually finds her way back with the steadfast support of her family and, importantly, her renewed friendship with Sophie.
