About the Author

Anthony ColemanΒ was born and raised inΒ Philadelphia. He is a self-taught artist and began drawing hisΒ unique portraits at a young age. Fueled by his desire toΒ create, Coleman drew on whatever scrap of paper he couldΒ find, cutting out each finished figure and carrying it in hisΒ wallet wherever he went. Coleman's distinct style combinesΒ the color and mood of cartoons from the '70s and '80s, withΒ his keen eye for portraiture. An extremely prolific artist,Β Coleman has drawn hundreds of portraits, each expertlyΒ capturing the distinctive characteristics of his subjects throughΒ his own personal style.
