About the Author

Daniel L. Geu is a South Sudanese-American, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan who arrived in the United States in 1995. Served in the United States Army with 15 years of active-duty service in various leadership positions. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from North Dakota State University, Master of Science in International Relations from the American Military University, and Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Public Policy and Administration from the Walden University. Most importantly, Daniel is a loving father of seven children, three wonderful sons and four beautiful daughters. Daniel is a compassionate and caring community worker, a youth mentor who aspire to empower others through inspiration and motivation.
