It’s been a few months since XR_935 met Emma, a human girl who wasn’t supposed to exist. The robots believed they had eliminated all humans, yet some survived the war and clung to life.
Now, robots and humans live side by side, creating a world that is much better for it. They have formed a new society, living together as equals.
Even if XR doesn’t always understand human emotions or the disorder of their settlement, XR is impressed by their ability to make it work—especially given the terrible things robots did to humans in the past. However, some humans are not quick to forget or forgive those past actions, leading to a group rising up to rebel against the fragile peace.
