DescriptionIn Factfulness, renowned statisticians Hans Rosling, along with his co-authors Ola Rosling and Anna Rosling Rönnlund, bring a fresh perspective to the way we perceive the world. This groundbreaking book reveals the power of data and statistics to change the way we think, replacing our common misconceptions with a fact-based worldview.
The authors dive deep into ten instincts that distort our perspectives—from our tendency to divide the world into us-versus-them groups, to the fear-driven headlines that shape our understanding of the world around us. Through engaging anecdotes and compelling stories, Hans Rosling guides readers to recognize these biases and understand why, in many ways, the world is in a better state than we often believe.
With insightful commentary and a clear, accessible writing style, Factfulness provides a revelatory look at humanity's progress and why things aren't as bad as they seem.
