Description
Dzogchen Dream Yoga by Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche provides guidance on developing lucid awareness in dreams as a foundation for spiritual practice.
This guide draws on the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism to offer a progression of dream yoga practices, including pre-sleep purification, correct postures, and visualizations.
Practical instructions are offered for identifying the dream state and modifying your dream narratives. The book reveals how dream yoga supports the bardo teachings and prepares the practitioner for death and rebirth.
Maintaining awareness while dreaming is one of the most direct and practical methods for understanding the nature of reality. This guide provides detailed instructions for cultivating lucid dream awareness and utilizing it as a foundation for spiritual realization.
The authors present exercises that enable you to influence, multiply, and expand your dream experiences. They demonstrate how to recognize dream phenomena as illusory and apply this recognition to everyday perception, crucial for cultivating nondual awareness.
By consistently advancing on this path, you will realize the true nature of the mind. The authors also explain how dream yoga supports bardo teachings and prepares the practitioner for death and rebirth.
A comprehensive roadmap rooted in an authentic lineage, Dzogchen Dream Yoga demonstrates how to deepen your meditation practice to cultivate awareness while dreaming, thereby enhancing focus and illuminating the waking experience.
