Days at the Morisaki Bookshop is praised for its whimsical and tender voice, captured well by the translation. The narrative connects empathy evolved through literature with the protagonist's self-discovery, while the book's inviting and atmospheric setting is appealing for leisurely reading. Additionally, the story is noted for its clean prose, detailed descriptions, and a delightful exploration of books and bookstores, wrapped in sincere and honest storytelling.
