In Counting My Blessings by Seph Schlueter, a young boy discovers that God’s gifts are infinite, learning to find joy, friendship, and gratitude in the everyday miracles that surround him, from a stray cat to the stars in the sky.

Description

God gives us miracles, gifts big and small.

So many in fact, we just can’t count them all.

One, two, three …

up to infinity!

God’s gifts are everywhere—from the smallest kindness to the vastness of the stars. Follow along as a young boy learns to look for the good in every moment. When he feels down, he discovers that blessings can be found in unexpected places: a stray cat in need of a home, the warmth of his mother’s hug, the thrill of a new friendship, and the comfort of community. From the endless wildflowers in a field to the countless waves in the sea, he begins to understand that God’s love is as infinite as the stars in the sky.

This delightful story gently introduces children ages 4-8 to themes of gratitude, faith, and praise to God. With lyrical, rhyming text and stunning illustrations that bring the boy’s world to life (complete with his fun-loving cat!), Counting My Blessings is perfect for:

Family Read-Alouds: Cuddle up and share a comforting message of hope and love before bedtime or anytime.
Teaching Gratitude: A wonderful tool to help children recognise and appreciate the small miracles in their daily lives.

Navigating Change: Offers a gentle perspective on life’s transitions, like moving or making new friends, showing that every day brings new opportunities for joy.

About the Author

It is Seph Schlueter's (pronounced "shleeter") deep passion to awaken people's hearts, help lead others into an encounter with Jesus, and give language to a relationship with God through his music. Follow his socials and you'll quickly see his heart for the Lord along with his endearing personality. Before joining the Provident Entertainment family in 2023, he released his music independently, opened for artists such as Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham, and began the group Damascus Worship when he saw the need for worship and revival in the Catholic Church. In 2024, Seph released his debut major label EP, Counting My Blessings, which offers organic pop sensibilities and relatable lyrics that speak to his all-consuming love for Jesus. The title track “Counting My Blessings” has gone on to become a global sensation and has amassed more than 12B short form video views, 112M global streams, over 5M TikTok creations, and over 26.5M views on Youtube. The song has also peaked at #1 on all four Christian radio charts. Seph was recognized as Christian Music Broadcaster’s Breakout Artist of 2024 and won the KLOVE Fan Award for Breakout Single of the Year. He is nominated at the Doves for the first time in the New Artist of the Year category as well as Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year (“Counting My Blessings”). Recently, he was recognized as a finalist for the 2024 Billboard Award Top Christian Song (“Counting My Blessings”) and named Billboard’s #2 New Christian Artist. Felishia Henditirto was born in Bandung, in Indonesia, and has been fascinated by art and stories since she was a child. When everybody else was busy taking notes in biology class, she was in her own world, drawing. Illustrating stories is her biggest passion. She now has a BFA in graphic design. In her illustrations, Felishia likes to play with color, light, and shadows. She has a thirst for magic and she tries to find it in everything she does! If she is not working, you can find her visiting faraway places with a book.
