Chinese Language Writing Workbook
Chinese Language Writing Workbook is the perfect book for beginners and learners of Chinese! This essential workbook is designed for beginners who want to learn to write Chinese characters the correct way.
The eight basic Chinese writing strokes are presented along with an explanation of how they are combined to write characters. A brief introduction to Chinese pronunciation and tones is also provided, along with common greetings and expressions.
Next, the 48 most common characters are given with the stroke order for each character and extra writing practice grids. Learners can practise writing each character by following the directional arrows in the grids. The main body of the book provides 110 additional lined and gridded pages for writing practice. These are extremely helpful to beginners in practising writing and memorising the basic characters.
At the back of the book, helpful sections are provided, showing how characters are combined to form words and sentences. Complete vocabulary lists for the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Level 1 and Level 2 government proficiency exams are also provided.
