The first ever graphic novel treatment of Orwell’s seminal fable, now in paperback.

When the downtrodden animals of Manor Farm overthrow their master Mr Jones and take over the farm themselves, they imagine it is the beginning of a life of freedom and equality. But gradually a cunning, ruthless elite, masterminded by the pigs Napoleon and Snowball, starts to take control. Soon the other animals find themselves hopelessly ensnared as one form of tyranny is replaced with another...

Animal Farm is a powerful allegory about the corrupting influence of power, masterfully depicted in this unique graphic novel adaptation.

Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?

The graphic novel adaptation of Animal Farm is praised for its rich, colourful illustrations by Odyr, which capture the emotional depth and satirical edge of Orwell's original work. Critics highlight the expressive watercolours that enhance the narrative, effectively conveying both the pastoral settings and the darker themes of revolution and consequence. The art's painterly quality is noted for adding a poignant layer to the timeless allegory.
