Analívia Cordeiro - a female perspective in media art.

Considered a pioneer in both video art and computer-based video dance, as well as an innovator in body art, the Brazilian artist, dancer, and choreographer Analívia Cordeiro (*1954) has been developing a continuous and intense body of work since the early 1970s. Her work explores the relationships between body, movement, visual and audiovisual art, as well as media art.

Since the early 1970s, Analívia Cordeiro has been one of the first female video artists to influence all of South America's media art.
