The Blood Countess by Tara Moss introduces us to Pandora English, who is no ordinary small-town orphan. When she gets an invitation to live with her mysterious Great-Aunt Celia in New York City, Pandora eagerly embraces the chance to escape her stifling hometown, leave behind her tragic past, and pursue her dream of becoming a writer.
