Relish

It’s a lovely book that people who already know of and love Rowan Bishop will want to add to their collection. But I think anyone who loves to cook, wants to venture into preserving or just really needs a good caramelised onion recipe, would love this book. The recipes are a diverse lot from across the world and the caramelised onions are a must make. The olive and prune tapenade went on anything bread adjacent as soon as it was made. The gingered plum jam and Chermoula are other favourites. I’ve marked a dozen more I want to make including the toum and candied chillies

A beautifully illustrated book. The recipes use ingredients that most people have in their panties. If you garden you are sure to have surplus vegies at some times of the year and this books recipes don't require huge amounts. I have made several of the sauces, chutneys and relushes now and they are simply delicious. I have purchased copies of this book as gifts and reco mended it to many friends.

Rowan’s ability to create stunning flavours, whether in relishes, chutneys, sauces, dips and/or jams, leaves you wanting it all. I’m loving experimenting….the toum and kimchi are 2 recipes I will always make! The photography and design are superb, and every aspect of Relish has me determined to keep making more and more. Thanks Rowan and team! You deserve so much success!
