Perfect for fans of Richard Osman, J. M. Hall, Ian Moore, and Andrew Cartmel.
Professional cult sci-fi fan and neurodiverse sleuth Kit Pelham returns in this laugh-out-loud-funny follow-up to The Fan Who Knew Too Much.
Kit and her best friend/loose cannon Binfire are delighted to be invited to Furley House in Lincolnshire for the opening of a new Vixens from the Void-themed toy museum, which is to exhibit five ultra-rare action figures from the series. But when the plastic dolls (with limited-edition, die-cast armour, naturally) are stolen from the stately home in the middle of the night and start to reappear, broken into pieces, Kit and Binfire find themselves with another mystery to solve.
Who could be behind the horrific destruction of such valuable, box-fresh memorabilia? The figuresβ owners β shock jock and anti-woke warrior Matty Kearney, comic store owner and sometime fraudster Fenton Worth, imprisoned Vixens superfan and man mountain Graham Goldingay, cosplaying aristocrat Lady Tabitha Pendragon, and Binfire himself β all come under suspicion. But, as Kit discovers, everyone at Furley House, from host the 8th Marquess of Furley to Vixens-obsessed vicar the Reverend Jerome Bell, seems to have something to hide.
It's time for Kit to put her unique sleuthing abilities to the test once again. But, unfortunately, thatβs when the real killings start.
