Description

Set in the enchanting world of Alagaësia, The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm by Christopher Paolini is a mesmerising collection of stories that continue the epic adventures from the beloved Inheritance Cycle series. This volume reintroduces readers to the familiar setting of magic, dragons, and ancient lore, all while weaving in new tales and perspectives.

A year has passed since Eragon departed from Alagaësia, embarking on a mission to find the ideal location to train a new generation of Dragon Riders. His responsibilities have grown exponentially, involving the construction of a grand dragonhold, safeguarding precious dragon eggs, and managing complex relations with Urgals and elves. Amidst this overwhelming sea of tasks, a vision from the Eldunarí and an enthralling legend bring a refreshing diversion and open up new viewpoints.

The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm comprises three captivating original stories, each seamlessly interwoven with the ongoing journey of Eragon. Embark on the adventures of a wanderer and a cursed child, delve into the depths of magical spells, and, of course, encounter dragons once more. Additionally, this collection features excerpts from the memoir of Angela the herbalist, crafted by Angela Paolini, providing a unique and personal insight into this fascinating character.

Christopher Paolini invites readers to return to Alagaësia with this extraordinary compilation that expands on familiar themes while introducing fresh narratives and characters. Discover new dimensions of the iconic world and relive the magic through the eyes of its famed Dragon Rider.
