Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Drawing Out explores drawing as a fundamental artistic discipline, a form of research, and a conceptual game. For many artists, drawing is as necessary as breathing. The inaugural Dobell Australian Drawing Biennial presents the work of ten artists for whom drawing is the essence of their practice, and who are inspired by the landscape.

Their art is extraordinarily diverse, shaped by various conceptual and artistic concerns. However, for each artist, the landscape is the enduring subject of their work, and drawing is the means through which they express it.

The participating artists include Tom Carment, Joe Furlonger, Ross Laurie, Ivy Pareroultja, Ana Pollak, Peter Sharp, Mary Tonkin, John R Walker, Gosia Wlodarczak, and John Wolseley.
