Entertaining insight into the complex topic of the lungs and respiratory system through a series of lung character comic strips

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

In Adventures of the Lungs, discover what the lungs do, their role in talking, eating, singing, and what the respiratory system is anyway.

Each book in this series focuses on a certain part of the human body, using the body part as an approachable cartoon character in a series of relatable everyday situations. This blending of simple scientific explanation with cartoon artwork makes the KS2 science highly accessible. Comic strips by former Beano cartoonist are interspersed with explanation spreads to consolidate the learning, too. Perfect for readers age 8+ or anyone wanting their first book about the lungs!

Books in the series:

Adventures of the Lungs

Adventures of the Heart

Adventures of the Gut

Adventures of the Skeleton

Don't miss the incredible Adventures of the Brain series, and discover how the brain thinks, feels, and works with the rest of the body.
