A World-Class Tune-Up for Your Brain - Daniel H. Pink, bestselling author of Drive

Why do we often think we're better prepared for job interviews than we actually are? Why does no one act decisively on climate change? Why do our minds spiral into overthinking when something negative happens? Thinking 101 by Woo-kyoung Ahn, renowned psychologist and Yale professor, provokes these exact questions and provides clear, practical steps to transform our thinking patterns.

Professor Woo-kyoung Ahn crafted a unique course at Yale University, aptly named "Thinking," to help students understand and address the cognitive biases that create pitfalls in our daily lives. This course rapidly gained popularity, becoming one of Yale's most sought-after classes. For the very first time, Ahn shares the key insights from her extensive teaching and research with a broader audience.

Throughout Thinking 101, Ahn delves deep into why our minds are frequently tripped up by errors, cognitive biases, and prejudices. It's a well-known fact that these thinking issues persist despite our awareness of them, given their deep-seated nature.

This book is the perfect follow-up to Daniel Kahneman's landmark work, Thinking, Fast and Slow. Ahn illustrates how cultivating an understanding of our biases can significantly improve our own lives and positively impact the lives of those around us. This book is essential for anyone dedicated to enhancing their thought processes and living more fulfilling lives.

Terrific. Ahn offers compelling, research-based ways to limit the unwanted impact of thinking problems - Robert Cialdini, bestselling author of Influence and Pre-Suasion

With a combination of engaging anecdotes, cutting-edge research, and easy-to-follow strategies, Thinking 101 equips readers with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of modern life with greater awareness and clarity. Dive into this transformative guide and start your journey towards better thinking today.
