Mrs. Hemingway
Deliciously evocative and richly imagined, Mrs. Hemingway is the life of one legendary writer told through four extraordinary women.
The radiant and enrapturing story of four extraordinary women, all with one man in common: Ernest Hemingway. Now part of the Picador Collection.
Mrs. Hemingway is so beautifully written, and evocative, that I could not put it down until the last page' - Jojo Moyes, author of Me Before You.
One world-famous writer. Four extraordinary women.
The South of France, 1926. Hadley and Ernest Hemingway are enjoying all the glamorous pleasures life has to offer. Between cool drinks and boiling sunshine, they make their names as the glittering centre of the brightest young things of the Jazz era. But accompanying Hadley is her best friend, Fife, who has fallen into the orbit of young writer, Mr. Hemingway. She isn't the first, and she won't be the last...
Hadley, Fife, Martha, and Mary - each are brilliant, singular, and powerful women. Over the course of many decades, filled with desire, deception, and scandal, each will be united by a common title: Mrs. Hemingway.
An exquisite retelling of a legendary life through the women who knew him, Naomi Wood's Mrs. Hemingway is a stunningly rich exploration of commitment, freedom, and passion.
