About the Author

Born in North London and raised in Kent, Matt Morsia is a highly successful Fitness Influencer and YouTuber - with the social media platform 'MattDoesFitness' which has almost 6 million followers across YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

He is a former international athlete, who specialised in the long and triple jump. He was ranked top 3 in the country in 2011, but a lower back injury in 2012 forced him to retire from the sport and miss out on his dream of competing at the London Olympic Games. That didn't stop Matt, as he pivoted to powerlifting and won a silver medal at the European Championships in 2016.

After retiring from international competition, Matt became a PE Teacher - before ultimately leaving the job to focus on his growing YouTube fitness channel, which as of writing, has amassed nearly half a billion views.

In 2020, Matt released his first book, The 24/7 Body, which became a Sunday Times Bestseller. He then went on to launch the Morsia App, which has helped thousands of people transform their physiques and live happier, healthier lives.

Matt Morsia is also 'Legend' in the new BBC One hit series, Gladiators.
