Age range 6 to 9
An original concept where maths is explained in real-life situations, showing the practical usage of numbers in our everyday lives.
Maths is usually considered a demanding, boring, or even scary subject. However, numbers are all around us, and we use them and maths constantly without even realising it. Various usages of numbers in different environments are presented in 17 chapters, and the book ends with a double-spread where children can try out their newly gained knowledge.
The aim of Numbers, Numbers Everywhere is to show maths as a fun and useful subject that can be comprehensible and that helps us in many ways on a daily basis.
