New Zealand has the longest place name in the world. Can you say: Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu quicker than me?
Here are some more of my extra-silly challenges:
- Can you point to your spine? What about my spine?
- Can you make the tiniest whisper ever?
- Can you make the noise an otter makes?
- Can you do an impression of a goldfish by holding your breath? They can go for five months without oxygen!
An engaging, entertaining book designed to be played with, packed with clever facts and comic genius. Gemma Correll's funny comic-style illustrations bring the character of the Book to life and make for a fresh and exciting read.
It's ideal for reluctant readers, as they become a vital part of the book's story, using their imagination to outwit the book... however they choose to do so!

About the Author
Howard CalvertΒ is a children's book author and magazine journalist.Β As a child, Howard was a big Richard Scarry fan, and still considers Lowly WormΒ a close confidante, even if he is an anthropomorphic worm. He lives in Hampshire, UK,Β with his wife and two daughters, and enjoys getting covered in mud in the countryside while trail running or mountain biking, eating his own bodyweight in cinnamon buns, riding his Brompton and destroying his kitchen while baking. Gemma CorrellΒ is an illustrator originally from the UK, now based in Oakland, California. A graduate of the Norwich School for Art and Design, Gemma's work has a strong narrative basis. She specializes in hand-drawn comics, characters, illustrations, typography, and pattern. Gemma has exhibited all over the world, and she was the recipient of a Young Guns award from the Art Director's Club of New York in 2010. Gemma is the author and illustrator behind the quirky Doodling for...Β series.
