About the Author

Franzeska G. Ewart is a children’s author from Scotland. She grauated with a degree in Zoology from Glasgow University and then worked as a primary school teacher. She has since written over 20 books for children and teenagers, including the Bryony Bell series. Franzeska is also a painter and has exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy.

David Wyatt has illustrated beautiful book covers for many renowned authors, including Terry Pratchett, Philip Pullman, Diana Wynne-Jones and J. R. R. Tolkien. He lives in an ancient house in Devon, and is a keen lutist, cyclist and wanderer of the moors. Follow David on Twitter @DavidWyattArt.
