About the Author
Ko Terere te Marae Ko Otara te awa Ko Ngati Ngahere te hapu Ko Mataatua te waka Ko Maunga-a-Rangi te maunga Ko Te Whakatohea te iwi At 18 years old, Te Kahukura Boynton founded Maori Millionaire to help encourage conversations about financial literacy. By documenting her own journey, she now leads a community of over 30,000 individuals. At 20, she is now working full time as the Director of Maori Millionaire, creating workshops and resources for whanau Maori to learn from. In 2022, she said "It's about buying land back, not Gucci bags", which is a true demonstration of her ethos. Te Kahukura believes that financial independence will help uplift our communities. She's still on her financial journey, still documenting each step of the way. Follow @maorimillionaire_ on social media to learn more.
