Mike Soutar is a successful media entrepreneur and one of Lord Sugar's trusted advisors on the BBC's The Apprentice. He co-founded Shortlist Media, a company he grew from a five-person startup to an award-winning enterprise employing 180 staff, which he ultimately sold for a multi-million-pound sum. A veteran of the media industry, he has spent over three decades transforming businesses and mentoring new leaders. Soutar has a diverse portfolio of board roles and advisory positions across technology, media, and culture, and is known for his no-nonsense approach to entrepreneurship, resilience, and leadership.
