About the Author
Ashley Phillips was born in Canada and spent part of her childhood sailing across the Pacific Ocean with her family. When she was eight years old, they set off on an unforgettable adventure aboard their sailboat Rare Earth, traveling from Vancouver across the Pacific to New Zealand.ย
Along the way they visited many islands, met wonderful people, and discovered the magic of life at sea. Ashley now lives in New Zealand with her husband, their two daughters, and their beloved blue heeler. She loves the ocean, storytelling, and creating stories that encourage children to follow their hearts and explore the world around them.
