Amanda King grew up in Brisbane, Australia, and like many young Australasians, she embarked on her Overseas Experience (OE). During her travels, she encountered a Kiwi farmer and decided to settle on a picturesque farm in Canterbury, New Zealand. It was here that her love for country life flourished, and her passion for photography blossomed from a casual hobby into a thriving business.

Initially, Amanda used photography to capture fleeting moments and preserve them for eternity. Her journey as a professional photographer began when she created a large wall print for her living room, featuring a striking Highland cow. This compelling image became the centrepiece of her home and caught the attention of her friends, who soon began requesting similar pieces.

Motivated by this interest, Amanda set out to photograph more rural animals and shared her work on a dedicated Facebook page. The response was overwhelming; her images resonated with so many people, transforming her passion into a full-time career.
