We had the pleasure of welcoming New Zealand boxing legend Shane Cameron to Book Hero to chat with us about his upcoming memoir, Mountain Warrior.
Shane shared the inspiring story behind the book, speaking openly about growing up with dyslexia and ADHD and the challenges he faced along the way. From those early struggles to becoming one of New Zealand's best-known heavyweight boxers, a successful business owner and mentor, his story is one of resilience, determination and never giving up. He hopes Mountain Warrior will encourage others to believe in themselves, no matter the obstacles they face.
After the chat, Dylan took Shane on a tour of our warehouse, where he immediately spotted our wrestling figures. That led to a visit with Tim the Toyman, who showed off the incredible collection of figurines and collectibles surrounding his desk. The two quickly bonded over childhood memories, swapping stories about their favourite wrestling heroes growing up.
