Yoko Tsuno Vol. 19: The Astrologist of Bruges takes Yoko to Bruges, Belgium. She's been invited there by a local artist, Van Laet, who wants to show her a portrait of her that he supposedly painted.
Taking in the sights before their appointment, the young woman learns that Van Laet has an unpleasant reputation—it is said he made a deal with the devil. When they finally meet, the painter produces the portrait and astonishingly claims that Yoko posed for it ... in the 16th century!

About the Author
Roger Leloup joined Hergé's studio in 1953, where he assisted Hergé in drawing Tintin's Adventures. He has also worked with Peyo, creator of the Smurfs. YokoTsuno debuted in Spirou magazine in 1970. Leloup was awarded the much-coveted Grand Prix de la Jeunesse Sci-Fi in 1990.
