About the Author

Niki Wahapa was born in Sydney, and raised in Perth, Western Australia. She has a strong family heritage and link to New Zealand. Graduating in 2009 from Notre Dame University as a Registered Nurse, Niki later became inspired to write children’s books. She currently still lives in Perth, Australia with her husband Mark, and children Riley, Alex and Charlotte - who love to listen and review her work. She also has two big dogs, Tilly and Zara, who contribute to her narratives.
