Norvella P. Carter is an author, editor, and professor emerita of education and retired endowed chair at Texas A&M University. Quinita Ogletree is a clinical assistant professor in the School of Education at Texas A&M University, College Station, who writes with a focus on urban and multicultural education. Kamala V. Williams is the director of Prairie View A&M University's Northwest Houston Center, as well as an adjunct instructor in the College of Education at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
