From a GP with a fast-growing social media platform and a simple promise—this is the diet advice you can trust.

When Dr Camilla Stokholm started work as a GP, her health unravelled; she rapidly gained weight, felt exhausted, and had debilitating IBS. Determined to find out the root cause, she discovered that what she ate each day played a much bigger role in her well-being than she ever thought possible.

What Your Doctor Eats is everything Dr Stokholm has learnt in her journey back to health. Using the tools in this book—including easy ways to boost the gut microbiome, tips to stabilise hormones, and hacks to make sustainable change—she transformed her own health and that of her patients, and now you can too.

With a mixture of myth-busting facts, a look at the role of our genes and diet culture, along with the latest discoveries in nutrition science and a delicious recipe section, this book is the only book you need to feel at your very best.

About the Author

Dr Camilla Stokholm is a GP living the UK, who was born in Denmark and spent her childhood in Denmark, Switzerland, Australia and Italy. As part of her GP training, Camilla was awarded a scholarship to research childhood obesity and provide teaching for parents on lifestyle measures to treat it. This led to a special interest in the gut microbiome, and to her studying to become a lifestyle medicine doctor alongside her work as a GP. She has a passion for good food and health, and shares her own gut-friendly, plant-based dishes on the Instagram account @whatyourdoctoreats.
