About the Author

Lana is a children's book illustrator from Canada. Lana's been drawing since she could hold a pencil, and attended several specialty art programs throughout her school years. She then graduated Toronto Metropolitan University with a degree in filmmaking, because she wanted to bring books to life through the film medium. Later she returned to her passion for drawing and started bringing books to life through illustration. Lana loves drawing for children and especially enjoys books with humor.

Shelly Unwin is the wacky creator behind books like Blast Off! There's a Baddie Running Through This Book and Hello Baby! When Shelly is not hanging out with her family of bookworms or taking her fluffball dog for a walk on the beautiful northern beaches of Sydney, she can be found giggling to herself as she stares off into the distance with a hot cup of tea (she's originally English), conjuring up her next picture book idea.
