Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Tokyo Ghoul: re, Vol. 9 explores a world where the only way to fight monsters is to become one.

The Commission of Counter Ghoul is the sole organisation battling the Ghoul threat, utilising every tool at their disposal to protect humanity from its ultimate predator. Their newest weapon in this hidden war is an experimental procedure that implants human investigators with a Ghoul’s Kagune, granting them Ghoul powers and abilities. Yet, both the procedure and the newly formed Qs Squad are untested. Will they emerge as heroes, or become monsters themselves?

The Rushima Operation is reaching its sixth day, with both the CCG and the Ghouls pushing their limits. Under intense mental and physical pressure, old loyalties weigh heavily as both sides grapple with tough decisions on the battlefield. Regardless of who claims victory, they have all suffered substantial losses.
