Explore the world of emotions through expressive illustration and shared conversation. Emotions shape our lives in many ways—sometimes overwhelming, other times quiet and hard to name. This Is How I Feel Today invites exploration through 50 illustrated emotions, each brought to life with expressive watercolours by Marine Schneider.
The book encourages reflection and connection, offering moments to pause and understand feelings. Emotions are grouped into six categories: joy, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, and disgust. Each is paired with brief texts to help children recognise, name, and better understand their feelings.
There are no right or wrong answers—only emotions to explore and discuss, whether shared between children and adults or explored alone.

About the Author
With more than 20 published titles, Carolina Amell is an experienced book packager and graphic designer, specializing in illustrated nonfiction books, focused on creating quality and highly illustrated books. Carolina Amell graduated in graphic design and has been in advertising, working as a creative, for so many years until she was asked to do a book. A book!? Since then, She hasn't been able to stop. This Is How I Feel Today is her first Children’s Book at Little Gestalten. Marine Schneider is a Belgian author and illustrator. Aged five, she firmly affirmed that growing up, she would make children books. Fast forward fifteen years, she started studying illustration in Ghent, where her passion for picture books was only reinforced. Her great joy is to tell, with words as well as images, simple but beautiful stories. After Life and I, I am Life and The Path, this is her fourth book at Little Gestalten.
