The Three Billy Goats Gruff

My First Reading Book. This is a delightful retelling of a classic story. The fresh and lively narrative and imaginative drawings of all the characters ensure that children can follow as you read to them, or try for themselves.

Interactive writing exercises and a spot-the-difference puzzle provide a valuable aid to learning. It is an illustrated first reading book in a large, fun format.

High up on a mountain live three billy goats named Gruff. Having eaten all the grass in their field, they set off in search of pastures new. Across a river is the richest, greenest meadow they have ever seen - but in order to reach it, they must cross a wooden bridge. The bridge is guarded by a mean ugly troll, who gobbles up anyone who attempts to cross it! How will the three billy goats Gruff avoid the same fate...?

The timeless tale is retold in this enchanting book, with appropriate vocabulary and familiar language that children can easily follow.
