The Snow Fox tells the charming tale of Nico, a little red fox who spends spring, summer, and autumn with his three friends, Ava, Olive, and Linus. As winter arrives and his woodland friends go into hibernation, Nico finds himself all alone in a snowy wonderland. Despite his efforts, he can’t find a companion to share the long winter. In an attempt to pass the time, Nico builds a fox out of snow. Little does he know, he's about to befriend a real snow fox. This delightful story highlights the importance of cherishing old friendships, staying perseverant, and welcoming new friends.

About the Author
Rosemary Shojaie is an illustrator who is fascinated and inspired by chance meetings, memory, the passage of time, and the natural world. She especially loves the long, snowy winters of upstate New York, where she lives. She attended the University of Rochester and received her MA in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art, in England. This is her first picture book.
