The Museum of Shapes
The Museum of Shapes
The Museum of Shapes by Sven Volker is an engaging and informative book about the shapes that make up our world. Alma, the curator at the Museum of Shapes, is putting together an exhibition and needs your help!
Alma decides which shapes should go where in the museum. Triangles, for instance, have three sides and three angles. Can you help Alma find all the triangles on the shelf? Alma's favourite shape is a circle, where all the points on its edge are equidistant from the centre.
Not all shapes are geometric; some are wiggly and messy. Have fun and see if you can make a wiggly line with your body. This narrative framework is enhanced by interactive texts and complemented by the gorgeous, minimalist illustrations from New York Times Best Illustrated award winner Sven Volker.
Enjoy the mesmerising world of geometry like never before with The Museum of Shapes!
